Senior International Growth Consultant, GCS, Managed Agency (English, Mandarin) _corporate_fare_ Google _place_ Shanghai, China; Beijing, China **Mid** Experience driving progress, solving problems, and mentoring more junior team members; deeper expertise and applied knowledge within relevant area. _info_outline_ XNote: By applying to this position you will have an opportunity to share your preferred working location from the following: **Shanghai, China; Beijing, China** . **Minimum qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. + 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, advertising business, media or working with advertising agencies. + Experience in cross-border or exporting business. + Experience in an investigative role, gathering and presenting data to promote products, services, and solutions. + Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to interact with local clients and stakeholders. **Preferred qualifications:** + Experience with working overseas. + Experience in promoting or consulting with agencies. + Experience in thought leadership with applying data-motivated models that have an impact on marketing operations across international markets. + Knowledge of one or more international markets/regions, Business-to-Business (B2B) industry and marketing strategy. + Ability to take initiative and work in ambiguity with an entrepreneurial and goal-oriented mindset. + Ability to communicate and align multiple stakeholders to defined goals and deliverables. **About the job** The International Growth Team (IGT) helps customers and Google realize the full potential of international growth across Google Ads. Our customers operate in an increasingly globalizing world. Google’s global reach and in-depth market knowledge allows us to support our advertisers along the various steps of their international growth journey. As an expert on international expansion processes/success factors and member of a global network, you'll be a trusted advisor and partner to our customers. From strategic planning support, identifying the right target markets, to setting them up for success within their non-domestic footprint, you'll provide insights and support, helping them reach and exceed their international ambitions. Working closely with our agencies and advertisers, you'll develop a deep understanding of their business needs, objectives, and decision processes. You'll identify the levers for success and create solutions that turn these plans into results. In addition, you will play a key role in a highly visible, exciting growth area in Google. Together, we help shape the future of innovation for customers, partners, and sellers...and we have fun doing it. **Responsibilities** + Identify international growth opportunities based on existing frameworks and tools, and develop new ideas and approaches to drive international growth for an assigned portfolio. + Understand the customer's goals, and help them achieve these by developing forward-thinking, data-motivated export business recommendations and by educating them on export-related topics and opportunities. + Understand the market landscape, and develop and execute projects around international growth, impacting client's understanding of global markets. + Contribute to growing international growth acumen and resources within Google, and support other members in the network by sharing knowledge about your assigned market. + Build thorough knowledge related to advertising on Google, Google Display Network, and YouTube.
