We are currently hiring a Bilingual Customer Service Representative – Investments to join a fast-paced financial services contact centre. This role is ideal for someone with strong client service experience, investment knowledge, and completion of either the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE).
The successful candidate will act as a primary point of contact for clients, supporting inquiries related to investment accounts, trading functions, account services, and general financial service requests. This position requires strong communication skills in English and at least one of the following languages: French, Mandarin, or Cantonese, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to provide professional, accurate, and timely support in a client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
+ Respond to client inquiries by phone and email in English and French, Mandarin, or Cantonese.
+ Assist clients with account-related questions, trading inquiries, and investment service requests.
+ Provide accurate, professional, and timely support while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
+ Use sound judgment and problem-solving skills to resolve client concerns effectively.
+ Follow internal policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
+ Identify and escalate potential risk, compliance, or account-related concerns when required.
+ Maintain strong attention to detail when handling sensitive client and financial information.
+ Support team goals by contributing to a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment.
+ Identify opportunities to support client needs through appropriate referrals or service recommendations.
Required Qualifications
+ Fluency in English and at least one of the following languages: French, Mandarin, or Cantonese, written and verbal.
+ Completion of either the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) is required.
+ Previous experience in investments, brokerage, wealth management, banking, or financial services.
+ Strong customer service experience, preferably within a contact centre or client-facing environment.
+ Strong understanding of investment products, account types, and trading-related processes.
+ Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize risk.
+ Ability to work independently while meeting performance and service expectations.
+ Strong time-management and prioritization skills.
+ Completed post-secondary education is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Previous experience supporting investment or brokerage clients.
+ Knowledge of account types such as TFSA, RRSP, Cash, Margin, and non-registered accounts.
+ Experience working in a high-volume contact centre environment.
+ Familiarity with financial services regulations, compliance standards, and client verification processes.
+ Experience using financial, banking, or brokerage platforms.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a bilingual professional fluent in English and French, or English and Mandarin, or Cantonese, with investment industry experience and completion of either the CSC or CIRE. They are confident supporting clients over the phone, comfortable working in a structured contact centre environment, and able to handle sensitive financial inquiries with accuracy, professionalism, and care.
Work Environment
+ Initial training will be conducted fully onsite.
+ After training, the role will move to a hybrid schedule, requiring 3 days onsite per week.
+ Professional contact centre environment.
+ Client-facing role supporting inquiries by phone and email.
+ Fast-paced environment requiring accuracy, strong communication, and excellent service delivery.
Schedule
+ Initial training schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
+ Post-training schedule will fall within contact centre operating hours, Monday to Friday (8 AM - 8 PM).
+ Shifts may vary and candidates must be flexible to work later shifts as required.
