*Responsibilities*

* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to determine appropriate treatment plans.
* Apply acupuncture techniques to address acute and chronic pain, utilizing trigger point therapy and other proven methods.
* Educate patients on treatment procedures, expected outcomes, and self-care practices to support ongoing health improvements.
* Maintain a sterile and aseptic environment by adhering to strict infection control protocols and proper technique.
* Monitor patient progress throughout treatment sessions, adjusting approaches as needed for optimal results.
* Document all patient interactions accurately in medical records, ensuring clarity and compliance with healthcare standards.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop integrated care plans that enhance patient recovery and wellness.

*Requirements*

* Valid licensure as an Acupuncturist in the state of Maryland
* Current CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Certification and BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
* Demonstrated expertise in acute pain management, women's reproductive health and fertility.
* Ability to work with a team to meet patients needs.
* Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to acupuncture practice.
* Experience performing patient assessments, physical examinations, and utilizing aseptic techniques effectively.
* Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to care delivery.
* Ability to communicate clearly about treatment procedures and health education topics.
