Position Overview:

The Logistics Assistant will support our logistics and supply chain operations. In this role, you will assist in planning and coordinating shipments, communicating with suppliers and forwarders, and ensuring smooth transportation processes. You will also help maintain accurate records, track costs, and support compliance with industry regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in supply chain management within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.


This role is part-time with the potential to convert to full-time.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 4-6 hours per day (20-30 hours per week)

About You

You are an organized and detail-oriented individual with a passion for logistics and supply chain operations. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy problem-solving to ensure seamless shipping and delivery processes. Your ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, forwarders, and internal teams allows you to resolve issues efficiently. You are eager to learn, adaptable to changing priorities, and excited about contributing to a team dedicated to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of logistics operations, including shipments, deliveries, and storage.
  • Prepare and verify shipping and customs documents (commercial invoice, packing list, B/L, AWB, ISF, 7501, etc.)
  • Communicate with suppliers, forwarders, customers, and internal teams to resolve logistical issues and ensure seamless operations.
  • Perform data entry into company systems, spreadsheets, and databases to maintain accurate shipment records, tracking information, and logistics documentation.
  • Assist with customs clearance processes, tariff classification (HTS codes), and duty/tax coordination
  • Monitor and track transportation costs and expenses providing reports on key metrics and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Assist in handling customer inquiries and resolving any delivery-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Support additional supply chain and administrative tasks as needed to facilitate smooth operations.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Education: High School Diploma; Preferred Associate’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain or operations. Internship experience is acceptable
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to learn industry-specific software.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to work cross-functionally and with external partners
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment

Nice to Have:

  • Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese)
  • Knowledge of supply chain procedures, international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing, importing, or trading company.
  • Familiarity with freight forwarding and transportation cost analysis.

The pay range for this role is:
20 - 29 USD per hour(Main Office)
