That’s what makes us Roche. As an **Intern – Accounts Payable** supporting the **China region** , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. You will ensure our accounting processes deliver exceptional impact through meticulous document handling, timely invoice processing, and effective communication in **Mandarin** — helping our global business units maintain the financial health required to deliver care to patients. **The Opportunity** + You **manage the full cycle of AP documentation** , from receiving and sorting to barcoding and pre-archiving, ensuring all records are ready for further processing. + You **validate and process** PO and contract-based invoices, Non-PO invoices, and prepayments with high attention to detail. + You **support financial accuracy** by reviewing supplier open items, investigating non-successful payments, and performing balance sheet account reconciliations. + You **contribute to month-end excellence** by participating in closing activities and preparing operational KPI reports based on affiliate requirements. + You **act as a bridge for our China stakeholders** , handling internal and external queries in **Mandarin** and building effective partnerships with vendors. + You **engage in continuous improvement** by supporting system integration testing, participating in team projects, and initiating process enhancements. **Who You Are** + You are currently pursuing or hold a **Degree or Diploma** in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. + You are **fluent in Mandarin (Mandatory)** , as this role specifically supports our affiliates and vendors in **China** ; you are also proficient in English. + You have a strong interest in **corporate finance and accounting** , with a desire to learn best practices in a global shared services environment. + You have a working knowledge of **MS Office tools** ; familiarity with **SAP or other ERP systems** is a significant advantage. + You are a **proactive communicator** who enjoys resolving queries and working collaboratively within a "Buddy System" framework. + You are available for a minimum **internship duration of six (6) months** . **Who we are** A healthier future drives us to innovate.
