Job Summary:
The Providence Center is seeking a Bilingual Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare providers in a medical office setting by performing various clinical and administrative tasks. Fluency in English and a second language is required to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls for physicians and other clinical staff as required and ensure messages contain correct spelling of names, phone numbers and brief message regarding the call. Answer questions and investigate if answer is not known until resolution. Type correspondence as needed. Ensure typed documents are in proper format, accurate and completed within 24 hours of receipt of request. Make copies and/or fax documents pertinent to client health care and in accordance with HIPPA guidelines and TPC policies.
