The Red Hat Display (desktop) group is hiring a software engineer. In this role you will be working in the Internationalization (i18n) Engineering team on Linux Desktop development, focusing on input methods (ibus) for Chinese & East Asian languages and other i18n, font and desktop-related projects, contributing to their upstreams, and maintaining various i18n downstream packages in Fedora and RHEL.
_The Software Engineer independently designs, develops, and is accountable for the quality of software features of moderate complexity, keeping the end-users' needs in mind. This position exists to be an autonomous contributor who takes ownership of delivering direct, reliable value to our customers. The primary function is to translate user requirements into robust, high-quality, and maintainable code that creates a seamless customer experience and meets our high bar for software quality._
